Course Info

All races start and finish at Via Romano Vineyards and wind through the scenic neighborhoods and fruit ranches of Apple Hill along moderately undulating paved roads. The 5K is an out-and-back course, while the Half Marathon is a loop with a short out-and-back segment. There is one aid station on the 5K course, and five aid stations on the Half Marathon, located at miles 2.15, 4.5, 6.5, 8.10, 9.8 and 12.10. The time limit for the Half Marathon is 3:30 hours. MAGNAK electrolyte drink will be served on the half marathon course at aid stations 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Bag Check

As a convenience to our participants, a monitored bag check is available near the start line. We will do all that we can to ensure the safety of your items, however the Apple Hill Half Marathon cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not leave valuables.

Awards & Divisions

Awards
The Half Marathon and 5K events feature awards for the overall and masters winners and the top 3 males and females in each age division. All kids' fun run participants will receive finisher medals and the top boy and girl in each race will earn a special award.

FAQ

  • The 5K event is walker-friendly. Walkers may not be able to complete the half marathon within the 3:30 time limit.

  • Due to space limitations, we ask that you leave Fido at home.

  • Yes, both races are stroller-friendly!
